40th Anniversary Celebration

Performing music that the symphony has brought to the community over the past 40 years, audience and musician favorites will be featured. A work from the inaugural concert, a newly commissioned 40th Anniversary Overture, an alumni performance opportunity and a premier performance of the Symphony's repertoire are unveiled in a concert that celebrates the past and looks toward the future.

Seeking musicians who are former members of the La Porte County Symphony Orchestra

At the opening night performance on November 17th the La Porte County Symphony Orchestra will recognize the musicians that have created the music.  Present and past members will be honored, including those who are no longer with us with representation from their families.  The anniversary committee has assembled a list of over 400 musicians who have performed with the orchestra, but tracking these people and their families is not an easy task.  LCSO alumni are invited to contact the symphony in the manner most convenient:
