Executive Director: Lee Bauman

Lee Bauman took the role as Executive Director in December 2008. Previously, she worked as the Personnel/Operations Manager for the LaPorte County Symphony Orchestra since 2004. Lee’s background in non-profit business management, marketing, and graphic art skills combine with her enthusiasm for promoting great live performances.  She eagerly conveys the message of coming events to enlighten people in La Porte County and the surrounding vicinity about the quality and uniqueness of the symphonic concerts that are produced by this orchestra.  To learn more about Lee, visit her website.

Philip Bauman is beginning his 19th season with the LaPorte County Symphony. In addition to frequent guest conducting, he is the conductor for the Northwest Indiana Symphony Youth Orchestra and Northwest Indiana Symphony Orchestra Manager. To read Mr. Bauman's full biography click here.

Associate Conductor: Charles Steck

Charles Steck has been the Assistant Director of Bands at LaPorte High School since 1994.  Prior to that he was Director of Music for Lacrosse Elementary and High School.  At LPHS, he directs the Symphonic Band and Concert Band, as well as the Jazz Lab Bands and the Pep Band.
